Where to begin is more difficult than you would think. My dad has been in the hospital for 38 days now and most of that time, it seems, the family has spent in the 5th floor CCU waiting room. It seems that every day I am in the waiting room, I learn something new. At the same time, the something new is not all that new, which brings me to what I have learned the most. Life goes on! You see, I learn something new about someone else. I meet new families every day. I have seen many families come and go. Some with good news about their loved one and some with bad, but life goes on. And that is the first lesson learned for this entry, life goes on!

What an Honor!
Sunday, April 5, 2009
Do you ever worry about your kids? I do! I know I shouldn't. Judy and I raise our kids the best we can, according to God's word and trust Him to work in their lives as He wills. Something happened today that was such an honor to me, as a dad. My youngest son, Gabriel, informed me that he applied for our summer internship at RSC. I assumed it was for student ministries. So I immediately, responded by saying, "for student ministries?" He said, "No, dad. I want to intern with you." What an honor!
